The new googleplus or google+ is a social network launched by google. Google started social media with google buzz, which is not a hit. Google plus is the combined positiveness of facebook and twitter. Googleplus has a very good design.

Managing friends
Listing friends under different groups is possible in Facebook. To add a friend in facebook a person has to give friend request, then he/she have to accept it. It the person didn't accept it, then they cannot be friends. To remove a person from your friends list he/she has to go to their profile page and click "unfriend".

Grouping of friends is very easy in Google+, just drag and drop. Grouping of friends is called as circles in google+. If a person wants to add someone to his/her circles he/she can add them easily without their permission. To remove a person from your circle he/she has to click "block".

Wall vs Stream
Sharing your thoughts and links can be done through "Wall" in Facebook. Any of your friends can see it, like it, comment on it and share them. Facebook Wall will be visible to all only if they set their profile to "visible to everyone".

Sharing your thoughts and links can be done through "Stream" in Googleplus. He/She can specify which circle the posts has to go. If he/she didn't specify the circle everyone can see it. Anyone can see the stream of anyone by going to theirs profile stream page.

Chat
Facebook chat can be done through desktop computers. It doesn't support mobile chat directly.

On Google plus chat can done through Google+ huddle. It supports Android OS mobiles. For desktop computers gtalk is available.

Video chat
Facebook launched video chat with skype. But group video chat is not possible. Video message is supported by facebook. Windows and Mac Os are supports video chat.

Group video chat is possible in Googleplus. Maximum of ten peoples can chat at a time. Whoever speaks get the focus.

Express your feeling
To like something in facebook you have to press "like" button.

To like something in googleplus you have to press "+1" button.

Games
Facebook supports games. Millions of regular user plays games in facebook.

Games are not supported by googleplus till now.

Business pages
Business page in facebook is called as fan page. With this top brands are getting lot of traffic to their sites and they are able to increase their sales.

Google plus is working on it.

Spark
Googleplus has a feature called as spark. Where he/she can add interest. Which will fetch them the news from their particular interests. This type of feature is not in Facebook.

Questions
Facebook have question feature. You can ask questions to your friends with some options. From this you can understand about your friends. This type of feature is not there in Google+.
